REQUIREMENTS : Three (3) years tertiary qualification in Labour Relations/ Labour Law/ LLB/ BCOM Law. Two (2) years practical journey in Inspection & Enforcement Services, A legitimate drivers licence. Knowledge: Departmental insurance policies and procedures, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Levies Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, COIDA, SABS Codes, Unemployment Insurance Act, UI Contribution Act, Employment Equity Act, Immigration Act. Skills: Facilitation Skills, Planning and organising, Computer literacy, Interpersonal skills, Conflict dealing with skills, Negotiation skills, Problem fixing skills, Interviewing skills, Presentation skills, Innovative, Analytical, Verbal and written communication
skills.

DUTIES : Plan and independently habits substantial inspections with the purpose of making sure compliance with all labour legislations, namely, BCEA; LRA; EEA; UIA; COIDA; OHS and UCA, Plan and execute investigations independently on said instances pertaining to contravention of labour regulation and put in force as and when integral inclusive of making preparations for and performing in
Court as a State witness, Plan and behavior allotted proactive (Blitz) inspections oftentimes to display compliance with labour law such as compilation and consolidation of reviews emanating from such inspections, Plan and behavior advocacy campaigns on all labour regulation independently, analyse have an effect on thereof, consolidate and assemble report, Contribute at a greater stage of planning, drafting and renovation of regional inspection plans and reviews inclusive of execution of evaluation and compilation of consolidated statistical reviews on regional and allotted cases.
