Purpose of the Role
To set up and lead a formal GNFR feature that provides end-to-end governance, sourcing, contracting, and cost advent throughout all non-trade spend categories. The function is accountable for riding fee reduction, provider performance, compliance, and standardised procurement methods whilst constructing a pipeline of high-impact business initiatives throughout the business.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
CA(SA), CIMA, BCom or equal tertiary qualification
Minimum 7 years’ ride inside an FMCG environment
Proven ride in oblique spend transformation, which includes utilities, facilities, services, and Capex
Strong commercial, negotiation, and contracting capability
Experience enforcing procurement processes, systems, and compliance controls
Strong governance and danger administration mindset
Proven management trip managing cross-functional tasks and teams
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
SAP ride advantageous
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High interest to element and robust organisational skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Define and put into effect the GNFR vision, running model, and price roadmap
Establish procurement policies, governance frameworks, sourcing controls, and dealer standards
Drive PO compliance and limit off-contract spend
Lead GNFR guidance committees and music strategic initiatives
Procurement Operations & Process Optimisation
Design and put in force end-to-end procurement workflows and controls
Improve procurement systems, provider grasp governance, spend analytics, and contract repositories
Develop standardised procurement methods throughout stores, DCs, Finance, Property, and Operations
Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Value Creation
Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and business initiatives throughout key categories
Develop class techniques targeted on whole price of possession and long-term fee creation
Build and current enterprise cases, financial savings initiatives, and value optimisation strategies
Drive non-stop improvement and measurable financial savings delivery
Supplier & Contract Management
Establish dealer segmentation and overall performance administration frameworks
Manage dealer SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and provider reviews
Strengthen contracting disciplines, which includes threat clauses, warranties, rebates, and renovation obligations
Ensure dealer onboarding and compliance with regulatory and organisation requirements
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
Partner intently with Operations, Property, IT, Finance, DCs, and Support Office teams
Drive adoption of favored suppliers, catalogue buying, and procurement compliance
Build procurement capability thru training, playbooks, and procedure standardisation
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing GNFR team
Foster a subculture of accountability, collaboration, and measurable performance
Mentor and enhance procurement functionality inside the broader business
