SALARY : Grade 1: R1 122 630 – R1 191 510 per annum
Grade 2: R1 283 592 – R1 362 363 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Senior Certificate / Grade 12. Appropriate qualification that lets in registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Psychiatry. Appropriate tertiary qualification in the Health Science (MBChB). Initial and contemporary registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Psychiatry. Grade 1: No trip required. Grade 2: A minimal of 5 (05 years applicable ride after registration with Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Psychiatry. Grade 3: A minimal of ten (10) years applicable journey after registration with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Psychiatry. Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Abilities Sound scientific idea inside the particular domain. Ability to work in multidisciplinary team. Teaching and supervisory skills. DUTIES : The candidate will, beneath the course of the Head of Department: Conduct expert ward rounds: grant after hour insurance in Psychiatry Department and scientific help to junior staff, grant recommendation to district / regional degree hospitals, control / supervise allotted human sources and make sure tools is as it should be maintained. Training of undergraduate and post graduate scientific students. Active participation in high-quality enchancment programmes together with medical audits and CME activities. Attend to administrative things inside the unit. Assist with administration of the Psychiatry Department and have an enter into the unit’s administration at Ngwelezana Hospital. Assist protocol improvement and evaluate for patient’s management. Development and enforce scientific audit and fantastic assurance programmes. Provide outreach offerings to surrounding district hospitals which refer to Ngwelezana Hospital. Attend to conferences and workshops directed. Comply with all criminal prescripts acts, legislative, policies, circulars procedures, hints and code of habits for public service. Adhere to right channels of conversation as per the health facility organogram. Maintain clinical, professional and moral standards.
