REQUIREMENTS : Three 12 months applicable submit matric qualification (NQF Level 6) or equal qualification; Three (3) years applicable experience; Above common utilized expertise of task management; Good and practical understanding of Government prescripts, frameworks and insurance policies and authorities procurement processes; Knowledge of monitoring and reporting structures and processes; Knowledge and grasp of the Department’s Annual Performance Plan (APP), Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and the Minister’s Delivery Agreement; Understanding of the curriculum; Sound operational planning and management skills; Events coordination skills; Advanced Computer literacy in MS Office software program bundle (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, Zoom and different applicable software); Excellent verbal exchange (verbal and written) skills; Excellent statistics and facts administration skills; Strong leadership, negotiation and facilitation skills; Good interpersonal relations; Ability to proof-read and edit files as properly as the utilisation of the department/government report processing systems; Ability to work properly independently and below stress as nicely as adherence to deadlines; Ability to cope with pressure; Willingness to work vast hours and to tour extensively; A legitimate driver’s license.
DUTIES : The profitable candidate will be accountable for managing and coordinating all departmental activities in collaboration with line features (physical, digital and hybrid), countrywide and global inclusive of the sourcing of quotations as properly as price of invoices for such events; Managing all the methods pertaining to to the appointment and contract administration of the Professional Conference Organiser (PCO); Coordinating and managing the month-to-month reconciliation database of the PCO Managing Events, together with the invoices for the events; Ensuring that the Department receives price for cash and the great of the offerings rendered by using provider providers; Providing course for the a range of role
players, in phrases of contemporary and future events, creating techniques and fostering a tradition of duty and accountability in the administration of occasions and conferences in the Department; Ensuring that the invoices are processed inside 30 days as mandated via the PFMA and the Treasury Regulations; Developing and imparting all indispensable reviews related to the departmental events; Managing and updating contemporary digital structures for reporting.
