Rand Water is searching for a Strategic Forums Manager (SFM) to control Rand Water Forums (Water Services Forum & Mining and Industry Forum). The function requires the incumbent to improve and control fantastic customer, area and enterprise based totally consultative forums. The SFM will additionally want to organise and coordinate client excursions as phase of the Forums and prepare consumer events/functions.
Minimum Requirements
Degree/post-graduate qualification in (Public Relations/Marketing/Business Management)
General understanding of water sector
Ability to create multi stakeholder platforms.
Strong management and verbal exchange skills
Project Management
Proven tune document of managing and facilitating workshops/conferences.
Be cosy to interact at all ranges of management.
Primary Duties
The predominant responsibilities of the Strategic Forums Manager are as follows:
Management of Rand Water Forums (Water Services Forum; Mining & Industry Forum)
Sourcing of presenters/speakers for every Forum topic
Drafting of Forums subject agenda for the year
Drafting of Forum agenda for every Forum topic
Sending Forum assembly invites to Forum Members/Customers
Hosting of Forum meetings/engagements
Management and coordination of Forum Tours
Management and coordination of Forum functions
Building relationships and networking with different Water Boards
Engage inner Rand Water enterprise gadgets for theme improvement and delivery.
Stay abreast of water area tendencies and perceive possibilities for Rand Water
Business Partnering and Service Delivery:
Build fine relationships with the patron base, companions and different key gamers in government, personal sector, educational institutions.
Work carefully with line supervisor and client offerings coordinator thru collaboration
Produce attendance register for every Forum hosted.
Produce recordings (online recordings) for every Forum meeting.
Capture and post speaker database for every Forum meeting.
Attend networking activities (conferences, symposiums)Ensure availability of Forum displays for importing purposes
Month-end Processing:
Submit reviews pertaining to Forums region engagements into Customer Service Development Sectional Monthly report.
Ensure month-to-month up to date report keeping/filing.
Knowledge
Computer Literacy – MS Office, Online Communication Platforms
Knowledge in dealing with stakeholders in public and personal sectors.
