REQUIREMENTS : An terrific 3-year National Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) qualification in Supply Chain Management/Public Management or related 3-year qualification plus a minimal of three years applicable working ride at Junior Management /Assistant Director in the Supply Chain Management environment. Knowledge of Public Service Act and Regulations, Public Finance Management Act, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Supply Chain Management Prescripts. Valid driver’s license.
DUTIES : Manage the implementation of SCM processes in line with procurement insurance policies and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Ensure that all procurement strategies inside the GDE are compliant to the applicable National Treasury and Provincial Treasury requirements and framework. Compile implementation and monitoring plans for compliance administration in SCM. Manage the coordination, evaluation and monitoring of contract compliance. Ensure that methods and tactics are revised; and suggested in order to discover hidden risks or non-conformity troubles on commitments. Determine whether product/services are delivered at the proper time, of the proper quantity, proper products, proper place, proper conditions, proper high-quality and proper rate in accordance to the contract. Report on negative overall performance or failure to supply inside contractual conditions.
