REQUIREMENTS : An suitable 3-year National Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) qualification in Accounting/Financial Administration and associated qualification majoring in Accounting/Finance plus a minimal of three years applicable working trip at Junior Management /Assistant Director in the monetary management environment. Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Reference Guide to New Economic Reporting Format and different applicable monetary and instructional associated policies. Knowledge of public region procurement and Supply Chain Management. Computer literacy in Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of BAS (Basic Account-ting System), PERSAL and SAP. Excellent
written& verbal conversation skills. Valid driver’s license.
DUTIES : Provide monetary administration and procurement administration to the District Office and schools. Maintain all the accounting documents of the district. Assist with clearing of accounts. Assist in the education and administration of district price range allocation process. Budget forecasting and reporting thru Matlotlo council. Prepare weekly Cash glide inputs (funds requisitioning). Prepare month-to-month and quarterly reviews for the district. Prepare adjustment price range inputs such as virements for the district. Co-ordinate and distribute payroll manage sheets. Responsible for money owed repayments and income collection. Assist in with the audit method and clearing of all audit queries. Report in writing any unauthorized, irregular or fruitless and wasteful expenditure. Assist IDSO’s with all economic administrative components affecting schools. Implement and preserve asset administration insurance policies of the department. Link between district and GDF. Manage SLA with the GSSC and all different imposing agencies. Coordination of Risk administration processes. Ensure compliance with PFMA and Treasury Regulations and Accounting ideas and Departmental policies, Financial Delegations and via relevant compliance certificates.
